I want to do this with my dog, but he’s terrified of the dryer. So now I’m stumped. He’s a chiwennie and sheds like crazy. But now I’m obsessed with attempting this process. I just have to figure out the drying process. We always use towels.

I am anxious to put some of your videos to the test. I have a 13 year old Border Collie who has not been properly groomed in years. The last appointment I made for her at PetSmart was as disappointing as can be imagined.
We entered the store, went up to the counter and said we had an appointment. The person behind the counter comes around and immediately reaches down and grabs both of Oreos front paws without so much as even saying hello to her. Naturally Oreo beared her teeth. The groomer said, "Nope. We will not groom this dog ." And that was that.
This is not an aggressive, skittish or hand shy pet. She had been groomed by strangers before, at a different PetSmart no less. But her shedding fur has become too much. I have tried brushing her and she does exactly what you showed in another video. She sits. So I get nowhere.
Well, I’m looking for a new apartment currently and even though I have an ESA letter for her, I want her to look her best when we meet prospective landlords. And I also want to give my new vacuum a bit of a break.

So you don’t used the rake at all any more even with dogs with longer coats like multi poodles? Just conditioner and a brush out?

Dose this work for Tibetan mastiff’s they are double coated and blow their coat once a year and have a huge main around their head need any tips to get out matting when they go out on a rainy day and come in we find ourselves brushing and drying multiple times a day we don’t want to shave them as it’s not healthy for their coat type

What comb/rake tool should I use outside of the bathing process because I am getting an Akita and they have deep thick coats, I will need to brush their hair daily, I want to know the tool to use because I won’t be able to bathe them every day to deshed them, I’ll be giving them a bath once a month give or take.
Also will that shampoo and conditioner be fine for puppies because I am getting a 8 week old Japanese Akita pup soon, I am trying to prepare.
The 5 minutes each part is tough, gets the arms burning for sure 😂

Great video and thank you. I purchased the items in your listing and the shampoo says to mix 32:1 and conditioner says to mix 16:1. Are these the measurements that you use?

I have a cockapoo that has fur more like a cocker spaniel, double coat and I asked the groomer to do a scissor cut and when I picked her up, she was shaved. Now that she’s grown out, her fur looks like a swiffer. Do you recommend the grooming comb for this type of fur?

I happen to come across this video because I was looking for pet hair. I haven’t gotten all the way into the video but what if you don’t have a dog what if you have a cat? They’re not always the best about bathing, sometimes you cannot get them into a bath. As a groomer I’m sure that you have mostly dogs but it would be nice if you also had included cats
I just adopted a female Pekingese and she sheds profusely every year and the brush I have it helps when her fur is long, but it doesn’t do anything when her fur is short after I take her to the groomer and it’s frustrating because I would like to brush the dead fur out, but it’s just not working for me so I’m gonna watch a video and see what I can learn from your advice.
I have never used conditioner on my dog. This is the first time I’ve heard that it’s actually helpful for them.
