So, if you’re curious about Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Dry & Wet Dog Food and want an honest hypoallergenic dog food review, stay tuned for my expert insights!

Allergies issues stem from a unique gut microbiome, and it’s the ability to deal with non-hazardous things, like grass, chicken, or dust.

By nourishing the gut, you can reduce sensitivity and therefore improve your dog’s condition.

However, using highly processed food, not fresh natural foods, reduces the effectiveness of the therapy.

Not to mention that processed foods do contribute to cancer…

If you want the best for your dog, which you. You don’t want expensive vet bills or to be buying overpriced food, learn how to create a simple fresh food diet that works for them.

  1. Hey, I was looking at your urinary support recipe and it said read the article at the bottom of the description if interested in specific issues and there is no link to an article or ant way to comment on that video.
Why would you shut off comments?

  2. My dog got ear yeast infection for first time ever (7y old) in two weeks after starting Royal Canin Hypoallergenic, gonna switch back to raw diet for sure. 🙃

  3. Do dogs ever grow out of food allergies? Or can eventually tolerate the food they’re allergic to? My dog has tons of food allergies

  4. My GSD went from 47lbs to 70lbs on RC hydrolyzed protein kibble. I have no interest in changing after his diagnosis of EPI and lab confirmed allergies. The way I view it, my kids needed Elecare (infant formula) so why wouldn’t the dog also need a hypoallergenic diet? 😂😂😂 The lot of them are bound and determined to be “special” 😂

  5. Your recipes are gold! Just noticed you haven’t been making content.
Hope you bless us with some more recipes cuz my dog is loving em!

  6. My Dog has dermatitis and is on medication for life sadly I would rather have have him on prescription feed than see him suffer

  7. Hello sir
Could you please review "drools" wet and dry foods for dogs.
It is an american pet food company that is gaining traction in india

  8. Would you be able to review Open Farm Pet food next? I’m currently on Lamb and Ancient Grains. It’s extremely popular a lot of people are using it.

  9. I had a similar experience with Royal Canin when my cockapoo had a chicken allergy, and the vet recommended it. I now find it hard to trust vet recommendations, as I believe they earn commission from selling these products. On top of that, I suspect he might also be allergic to peas, so it would be a complete waste of money. It’s also ridiculously expensive for what it offers.

  10. Cam, I literally came across your videos and WOW! Did this blow me away with such energy, care and above all goodness to our dogs! I have just lost my beloved and best friend on Earth, my 8.3 year old Clément which was my Airedale Terrier after some idiot decided to place rat and rabbit poison at a god park. I am utterly heartbroken and devastated to say the least. I will be getting a puppy soon and it will be a Kerry Blue Terrier and yes, I will be certain to follow your delicious recipes. Thank God for finding your shop as somehow it made me feel hopeful. Thank a million, Jean-Claude from Melbourne, Australia. 🎉❤

  11. What degree in animal nutrition or canine medicine do you have? Please post on your about page.
Otherwise I find your generalizations suspect and certainly at face value, not helpful

  12. Never, ever Feed animals process.food. The majority of these processed foods are under law suits.People need to do research before they feed animals . Seed oils are poison to all of us Stay away from seed oils.

  13. I totally get what you are saying BUT when your dogs gut is in a certain state/overdrive, every protein is showing a reaction! Even if you use this food temporarily to purly try to stable the gut. My dog has suspected IBD and is in constant discomfort and is reacting to pretty much every protein! It’s awful! If these types of foods can give some form of comfort temporarily, just until things calm down within the guy. That’s my only thing with these diets….

  14. My dog has been put on this because it contains hydrolyzed proteins because he has Immune Mediated Polyarthritis. Be interested to know what Cam thinks would be a good alternative? There is little else on the market that contains hydrolyzed protein.

  15. All vets recommend this brand of food, it is crazy expensive and low quality ingredients from what I see. Recently got a GSD pup, vet told me they have breed specific foods, I looked at the ingredients… never.

  16. I tried several "high-end" allergy foods for my pittie. Never saw any results until I just started making her food myself. Her symptoms really improved and she even lost weight. She will never eat kibble again.

  17. Hey. All thing you suggest sounds very good if you live in house in one place. We are travelers, with a tiny fridge and micro freezer in it. What food would you suggest in our case? Have an aussie puppy atm and soon we will need to switch to adult feeding.

  18. Hello! 😁

Can you do on review of Viva Raw and Dr. Harvey Canine Health?

Also, may be a video on Incontinence that discuss possible holistic ways to help improve or reduce incontinence in female spayed dogs.

  19. I have a question about stools, my dogs are on Bella and Duke but their stools come out hard and white, any ideas why or what’s causing this?

  20. we don’t all have the time to make home made meals for our dogs and it has been suggested that I try a hypoallergenic food for my cocker spaniel who has regular yeast and ear infections with spots on his tummy and crusty eyes so I feel like I am entering a mine field with all of the conflicting info out there as to what is best!

  21. My adopted 7-year-old (give or take) dog has been on Royal Canin Hypoallergenic since October last year due to inflammatory bowel disease (prescribed by a gastroenterologist vet). We chose to feed him 4 times a day so he wouldn’t be empty stomach for many hours in a row. Well, the ultrasound from 4 days ago showed no improvement in the IBD, and revealed an inflammatory gastritis (which he didn’t have). He has constant acid reflux (mainly during the night) and sometimes he vomits in the morning.

Then I read the label….. If I ate so much fat and carbs I would myself develop gastritis.

We have a vet nutritionist appointment for tomorrow. There’s no way he’ll get healthy eating dog food.

  22. Thanks for this. I do Rover bookings and see so many people feeding their dogs this. It’s such a shame. I want to cook them a meal myself, but the owners won’t have it. I can see pancreatic and kidney problems mounting up. The crime is that this is recommended by vets!!!

  23. Could you pos do a review on the better semi-moist foods
I’m thinking of trying Eden, i want something a bit softer for my senior dog but not wet food as it bloats him
The reviews never show the texture either, a lot of semi-moist still seems to be quite hard

  24. Hello, I’ve been enjoying your content and have been using your recipes for my pup ever since we got him a year ago. Could you please share your thoughts or create a video discussing the suitability of a plant-based diet for dogs?

  25. My dog was on this for years after he was diagnosed with ibd. He had constabt flare up since jan this year. Iv gone against the vet with fresh food diet turkey. The vet reccomended hills i was like no thanks. I wish i found your channel earlier. Any tips for anxiety ? My boy gets anxious when im not at home
