With the COVID-19 pandemic, many pet parents are looking for pet safe, and natural cleaners, and disinfectants that they can use at home. Dr Jones shows you what works, is safe and effective in this new video.
1. Pet Friendly safe and effective soap- Castile Soap

2. Homemade Pet Friendly Hand Sanitizer. 70% ( 3 tablespoons) rubbing alcohol, 30% ( 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel), 10 drops of Lavender oil.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/infection-control/hcp-hand-sanitizer.html
3. Effective, Pet Safe Disinfectant Spray- 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (120ml), 10 drops of Lavender oil

Hydrogen Peroxide
The literature contains several accounts of the properties, germicidal effectiveness, and potential uses for stabilized hydrogen peroxide in the health-care setting. Published reports ascribe good germicidal activity to hydrogen peroxide and attest to its bactericidal, virucidal, sporicidal, and fungicidal properties 653-655. (Tables 4 and 5) The FDA website lists cleared liquid chemical sterilants and high-level disinfectants containing hydrogen peroxide and their cleared contact conditions.
Microbicidal Activity.
Hydrogen peroxide is active against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses, and spores 78, 654. A 0.5% accelerated hydrogen peroxide demonstrated bactericidal and virucidal activity in 1 minute and mycobactericidal and fungicidal activity in 5 minutes 656.
A 7% stabilized hydrogen peroxide proved to be sporicidal (6 hours of exposure), mycobactericidal (20 minutes), fungicidal (5 minutes) at full strength, virucidal (5 minutes) and bactericidal (3 minutes) at a 1:16 dilution when a quantitative carrier test was used 655.
Other studies demonstrated the antiviral activity of hydrogen peroxide against rhinovirus. The time required for inactivating three serotypes of rhinovirus using a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution was 6–8 minutes; this time increased with decreasing concentrations (18-20 minutes at 1.5%, 50–60 minutes at 0.75%).

Your a good person Dr. Jones . Thank you for all your help . Bottom line on all the advice and information you give :
#1 IT WORKS
#2 IT WORKS
#3 IT WORKS
MAJOR BONUS:
You have an obvious love for animals.
Equally as important and maybe even more so important an extremely professional and highly educated approach to the overall wellness of our furry friends that just can’t speak for themselves so thanks for being a voice for them you’re a great guy great job cheers!
Can dogs spread CV19? I am 63, at risk, with a 16-year-old Malkie who is blind, deaf and on a prescription diet and wears preemie diapers which I change many times a day. My husband is NOT an animal person and I am more scared what would happen to my Malkie than I am about what might happen to me. He refuses to deal with diapers or anything. I am currently been social distanced for 3 weeks in my home except for pick up groceries and meds for me and post office box checks. If I get infected, I have a quarantine plan away
from my husband in a travel trailer in my back yard. I would have to bring my dog into quarantine with me to continue her care. Would I need to bathe her in anything special as I, hopefully, recover to keep from reinfecting me or would a warm soapy bath in the sink be adequate?
Had to cancel order for CBD oil for our dogs because they took our money, never sent product. Paid for expedient delivery its a week now. I tried to order from you. Did not work for us…bummer too.

Stay safe and greetings from Mexico!
Hello doctor. My concern is bringing my dog for a walk/potty break. I have thought about spraying the bottom of her paws with hydrogen peroxide when she comes back inside. Do you think that will be okay? Also to spray a bit of the hydrogen peroxide in my hands and rub it on her fur around her nose incase she is making contact with things outside with covid on it, as you can imagine dog’s love to smell everything when they are outside. Right now everytime she goes outisde, I am constantly washing her paws with soap and water, but its a big job putting my lab into the tub and washing her paws with soap and water , as well as snout everytime she goes outside. I am worried about what might be on the sidewalks, as I do reside in a apartment for now with a lot of people walking on the area’s of which the dog also frequents.
Love your videos

How do I get a copy of your book?
Castile soap pump bottles make it foam saves money for people.
I use nano towels and sponges they are made with special fibers that made from nanotechnology they actually clean without water some times you water and vinegar or their all natural concentration LifeMiracle Availiable on Amazon, they helped me because of shortage of paper products.plus they clean using one damp and one dry. With 4 cats I need to Santize frequently. A set of 4 last months. Sponges are also great requires no soap Santize fast in microwave.
