  1. Mine are really into beef cheeks…dehydrated…similar to bully sticks and can be stinky.

  2. 2:38 I gave my 1 year old, penut butter, to plug up the dog food in the kong and that became a diarrhea nightmare.

  3. Antlers are very expensive in Japan but my mother in law bought it for my dog but the dog didn’t care about it at all. What waste of money, I still feel sorry for mom

  4. what about natural things like little twigs? is there any "natural"alternative to the plastic/rubber kong?

  5. not even the black Kong toys last with my dog, he’s able to chew them into pieces in 20 minutes 😐

  6. I found with my puppy to make sure it is the right size my black mouth cur has a medium size I made a mistake giving her a black one that’s a large she got half her jaw stuck

  7. I saw a vet have a dog with a kong stuck in the trachea of a large dog. Ever since I thought the Kong was a bad idea especially since it’s a food source. Thoughts on safety?

  8. 7:20 IMHO, Kong Wobbler is the bomb for reinforcement; my boy has been known to destroy even black kong 😮
Simpawtico suggests filling Kong Classic with kibble from daily portion, add water, and then freeze; would assist in keeping costs down.

  9. I soak 1/2 cup of kibble in hoy water (from kettle). When it cools, I stuff it into a black Kong (extra tough) and freeze it. I give this to my 2 yr old Malinois when I go to work. He loves it!

  10. My poodle LOVES frozen turkey necks. They keep her busy for 30-40 minutes and replace one of her meals

  11. Question. How long is it safe you food to stay inside the kong once it comes out the freezer. I have a puppy a cavalier and don’t want her to get bellyache

  12. I make frozen marrow bone 😋 my dog absolutely loves it 😜 I make 3 bones every night and I stuf it whit mix ingredients ,,, lever som cheese some dry food I put in water before stuffing it ,,, peanut butter 😜 so he get 3 frozen marrow bone 😋 every day and he loves it 😋😋😋

  13. My miniature poodle rescue loves her Kong with nothing in it. So far the only toy she can’t destroy.

  14. Love this! I have a four month old pup and we just started giving him bully sticks. He loves them but even these start to get a little pricey for daily use. I am excited to try the Kong method and see how he responds! Thank you for the advice!

  15. i dont always put wet food in our kong i do a variety of things like applesauce, peanut butter, soaked kibble, peanut butter mixed with pumpkin and honey basically anything that is highly rewarding and will last a long time. and she LOVES her bully sticks

  16. I like this puzzle feeder thing. You fill it up with dry food and it rolls around and drops a few pieces of dry food at a time. Maybe not every dog will like it, but it’s another "work for your food" one.

  17. What is a good brand for the bully sticks there’s so many different ones does it matter the brand

  18. Hey man whats your opinion on large frozen karats? I feel like they a super safe cost effective option for medium sized dogs

  19. There are also these yogurt sticks made by the yak cheese company. They last about 15 minutes for my 4 month old springer spaniel. They are chewy and moist, not super hard like the yak cheese

  20. I can’t get over the number of Kongs per day, and you call it cheaper?? You must be wealthy as hell, lol. In Canada, one large Kong is about 20 bucks! Maybe I’ll buy some cheap IKEA pine tables and let my dog chew on those.

  21. Not seeing it, so! Bully sticks are hard dried intestines! Specifically the lower to anus organs. I used to stock them and holy crap the s m e l l. I would never not gag when doing the bully products. Super gross, dogs love em lol!

  22. Put those fish skins in an airtight container with the other not so smelly chews. Everything in the container will smell like them. ❤

  23. Both my dogs – Westie and Labradoodle got Slab Fractures on their molars from Antlers. Beware Westie had to have an extraction = $$$ the doodle was able to live with it – he was already very old.

  24. My dog chews Bully Sticks up in 5 minutes. They are expensive for just 5 minutes. There is never half a bully stick, cause she consumes them. She loves antlers and it takes weeks for her to chew them up. The Himalayan Yak Cheese lasts a long time too. All of these are great options, but Bully Sticks are too expensive. I will pay more for one treat that last longer than a 25 dollar pack of four Bully Sticks. I stopped giving her raw bones cause I don’t want decaying raw meat on my sofa.

  25. I recently bought a back of cow hoofs. Not that expensive and all 3 dogs love chewing on them. They’ll chew for 30-45 min. They are quite stinky so we make sure they are across the room or outside when chewing. Plus they don’t make marks on the cream colored carpet.

  26. What do you do with the marrow bone if the puppy doesnt finish it the first time? Freezer or refrigerator?

  27. I used marrow bones for my lab and filled kongs I feel they are best, now using with my 9month old Malinois he’s a chewer . But I loved hearing you really promote this as well 🤗

  28. I use the bully stick on my GS puppy (at 4 months) for * fetch, *bring it, and *drop it,, The bully stick stays in my hand..it never leaves. I let her nibble on it (helps also with "gentle and no biting " commands. I don’t give it to her to be alone with. It’s my" bully stick. To help her drop and watch me.. It’s her treat stick, but stays in my hand. It’s gross, it smells, but it works. 🎉

  29. My 4yo American bully almost ALWAYS manages to break the raw bone and eat it awell as the marrow (nothings cooked, just raw stuff) idk how he does it

  30. I have to take the shape into consideration. IF my dog can get a hold on chews he’ll eat it in hard chunks gulp gulp gulp. I buy things his short arms can’t really get a purchase on so they keep him busy

  31. In my adult dogs they eat from bowls occasionally with bowl exercises, but rest of meals are their kibble soaked filled and frozen. They enjoy the fun they have, it gives me time to eat my meals and since I work from home it is convenient

  32. No bearing bones like marrow bones for the teeth.
If your dog is just lick them it’s ok but a biter can permanently harm the teeth.
