  1. Thank you for sharing this very cute pattern with details and close-up shots! I was able to pause/restart to follow along. Also, the sweater for my dog turned out great! HOWEVER, if you could please give tips/advice on scaling this for dogs that are not the same size as your small/medium pup, it would be GREATLY appreciated!! I made it for my MEDIUM size dog & had to make a lot of ‘guesses’ at rows & stitches .. it still turned out amazing, but would have been WONDERFUL if advice could have been given to assist with that!! Thanks, again! GREAT job!

  2. Love how you explain how to make this pattern this is the best pattern I’ve seen thank you so mush do you have a small si for do you just use a bigger hook thank you so very much

  3. Adorable!!! Great tutorial, my little maltese mix needs one! Going to see what yarn I have I can use and get one started!

  4. Beginner here, I’m gonna try this but I’m trying to view the pattern, it says it’s private now? Can you please make it available? Thank you! Also, any way you can make a separate video showing down your double crochet decreases? I’m just learning and I’m not sure I got it right. Thanks again.

  5. I couldn’t do it, but the reason why I couldn’t do it cause I did not have the right crocheting hook😂

  6. We’ve got a dog that looks like "old yeller", so she’s a hound mix – – – and pretty big! She IS big, so should I increase every third stitch???

  7. May I ask ? if the chain two does not count as a dc, wouldn’t it be creating an extra stitch if you slip stitch into the top of the chain ? Sorry just a little confused.

  8. Hey Erin! I’m a crochet beginner and im trying to make this sweater. So far so good! I’m just noticing that it’s a little big. which row should I change? Because my dog is a little bigger then yours I decided to make an increase after every 3 stitches, in row 2. Is that the row that I should change?
    Love ur videossssss

  9. Amazing video, thank you for making it! I love how you clearly show each step and explain how the different stitches are done. I started this having never done any crocheting before and it was super easy to follow

  10. The tutorial is amazing!!! However, mine is getting increased, like it kept getting bigger instead of staying one size if that make sense?? Can somebody explain why mine is keep getting bigger ???? Or where I am doing wrong??? Plzzzz😅

  11. I just finished it. It’s the first thing I crocheted and it was so easy to follow along. Me and my Maltese loved it. Thank you so much for the tutorial ❤

  12. Purchased your pattern and just made this sweater for my Shih-Tzu!! 🙌🙌🧶🧶🙌🙌
Made a few adjustments due to sizing like you suggested and it is absolutely PERFECT!!
Jet LOVES it & so do I……he’s adorable in it. 😊🐶😊🐶

Thank you so very much!! 😊🧶🦋💜

  13. Thank you so much for making this video!
My sweet pup is so warm and distinguished looking in his new sweater🐶❤

  14. This is a great video thank you so much unfortunately one of my mom’s dogs had to get her front leg amputated so now I’m making her a sweater just -1 armhole this has been a very easy pattern to follow

  15. Im confused at 18:35 when we decrease are we cutting off our yarn every time and then reattaching at the stitch mark?

  16. Thank you so much for going slow and showing up close the details. I have a hard time understanding tutorials like these because I’m very much a beginner and things that are obvious to most are not to me. I really appreciate it. I was able after a few try’s to successfully make a sweater for my pup. I can’t thank you enough.

  17. I made my holes too small for another person’s dog. How can I correct this when sweater is all finished?

  18. Making this for my pup the tut is so easy to understand but I dont have stitch markers so im using cut pipe cleaners 😭

  19. Hi, my dog hates putting a sweater on, so I wanted to know how I need to change the pattern, that there is a slit at the top so that I can make buttons or a zipper for easier dressing. Could I just not crochet the neck band to a circle?

  20. Is there a reason why you did a single crochet for one time around after the initial neck rim? I’m just learning. 64 and brand new at this.

  21. Would this fit a malteses size dog, i want to make this for my fur baby but I don’t want to make it and it end up being too big for him

  22. 6:30 the sudden switch in ur collar color threw me lol i had to rewind to make sure i wasn’t goin crazy ,, great tutorial so far !

  23. This was an easy follow along tutorial. I was able to make a slightly larger version for my friends, Frenchie. Thank you

  24. Did she chain one before she flipped it? Or how did she start the next row after the decrease?? I’m kinda lost

  25. After the neck ribbing I increased 1 every 4 stitches like you, and the sweater gets baggier on my dog as I continue adding rows. Is there a way to kind of cinch in the excess / take in the size an inch or two as I continue the rows? I’ve tried skipping some stitches on the underside but it’s not really working. Is there another way to make it smaller? Or do I have to undo it all and increase 1 every 5/6 stitches in the first row after the neck ribbing to make it smaller? Any suggestions are welcome!! Thank you so much.
